What is Terrorism? Who Took Responsibility for the Attacks on 9/11?

What is terrorism?

The definition of terrorism is the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, for political purposes, the state of feat and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization. A terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government. 

What happened on September 11, 2001?
At 8:46 a.m. A plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. At 9:03 a.m. Another plane smashes into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. By 10:30 a.m. Both Towers collapse to the ground. The third plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C.

Who took responsibility for the attacks?
The terrorist group Al Qaeda and their leader Bin Laden admitted responsibility for the attacks on 9/11. Bin Laden says in a video, the reason behind the attacks was for the injustices against the Lebanese and Palestinians by Israel. He says that if the United States stops threatening the security of Muslims further attacks can be avoided.
